# 同じ内容でマルチポストさせていただいております。
# 同じ内容を何度も見る方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、ご容赦いただければ

さて、来る6/1〜3の日程で、パシフィコ横浜にて LinuxCon Japan 2011 が開催され
ます。

スケジュールは

のような感じなのですが、6/1にOpenStack関連で２件のテクニカルプレゼンテーションと、
1件のBoFセッションがあります。(*1)

BoFセッションの提案趣旨としては、開発者/利用者含めて、広くオープンソースの
IaaS 基盤の現状を知ってもらい、コミュニティの層を厚くしていきたい
というような狙いがあります。

末尾の abstract にあるように、Lightning Talk の枠が(１枠5分として) 4-5枠あります。
私のほうで調整いたしますので、
LinuxCon Japan 2011 へ参加される方で、IaaS系クラウド関連のLTにご興味のある方は
わたくしまでご一報いただければと思います。
もちろんOpenStack関連でなくてもかまいませんし、
Network や Storage/Volume などの周辺技術でもかまいません。

| OpenStack and other OSS cloud infrastructure BOF
| 
| ABSTRACT:
| 
| This BoF is intended for exchanging information among 
| possible/current users and developers of various OSS IaaS software,
| but mainly OpenStack.
| 
| Time table of this BoF would be like the following, and this BoF is
| accessible to all technical levels. Users can understand how OpenStack
| is applicable to their business. Engineers with basic knowledge of
| information systems will understand what is it and how OpenStack
| works. Experts will improve understanding on OpenStack design and
| implementation details, and they can enrich their connection with core
| developers and users.
| 
| One thing important is that this BoF is also open for other OSS IaaS software
| than OpenStack. Any kind of lightning talks on OSS IaaS will be appreciated.

| 5min    Welcome talk and brief introduction of OpenStack community
| 15min   core developer talk from oversea

  ★この talk はなくなりました。代わりに Interop で Vish さんの講演があります。ですので、
　　DesignSummitの状況などを含めて少し opening talk を余計に話そうとかんがえています。

|         4 x 5min sessions
| 10min   Live demo

(*1) Virtualization Mini-Summit の 6/2のセッションでも
     IaaS環境向けの Network Virtualization の発表があります。
     これを入れるとテクニカルセッションは３件ですね。
